Aim: Market launch and funding

This createch project focused on developing and launching a niche ecommerce shopping platform within the handmade, premium segment featuring technically advanced, highly personalized garment recommendations. The network of vendors and an informal documentation of potential features were in place, with funding adequate for sustaining the project until early traction shows. Preparations for the launch involved prioritizing functions in discussion with the main stakeholders, weighing monetization channels, and structuring the digital infrastructure. Targeting both innovation funding and private investment, creating a product roadmap and development schedule was also required.

Work done:

Following the early strategic meetings, I structured the feature proposals, conducted and organized the outcomes of competitor analysis and vendor feedback from different sources, in order to define the potential initial feature lists for the launch with the stakeholders. Assumptions were tested in regards to the significance and value of features for customers, which involved engaging with the community across various channels. Given the premium sector, a narrow yet well-defined set of features has been selected for the launch to convey the positioning, test the monetization strategy, and demonstrate traction and business planning for funding bodies and independent investors.
