Aim: Retention and growth
This project involved a scale-up in the cybersecurity space, featuring numerous larger corporate contracts and a strong fan base within the developer community. A key part of their growth strategy was to launch a secure code education platform, aimed at both expanding existing contracts and securing new ones with a broader scope. The new product branch was partially attempting to address the low contract renewal rates, which was attributed to the high user abandonment rate among the assigned learners, reported by clients. The new release was also a contained growth experiment, targeting the restructuring of the platform for engagement and retention with minimal disruption.

Work done:
A significant portion of my work involved interaction modeling based on learning and flow principles, which meat structuring for the gradual increasing task complexity and dynamic instruction design to follow growing skills. Improvements were tested through remote, unmoderated sessions in each iteration. Completion rate was tracked and analyzed, while the active community provided feedback on value communication and the accessibility of interactions. Additionally, broader feedback was gained through structured interviews, helping to generate user insight that was carried forward to support alignment between stakeholders, product teams, and engineering. This alignment helped to connect monetization goals with feature priorities and development roadmap. The iterative, cross-functional work delivered a successful product branch that was selected as the prototype for the restructuring of the entire platform.
